We’re excited to officially introduce Octopis Holdings and bring you along as we build our self-storage investment and operating company.
For us, this isn’t simply about buying real estate.

We were drawn to self-storage because it sits at the intersection of real estate, business operations, technology, and everyday life.

People need storage during many of life’s transitions—moving, downsizing, growing a business, welcoming a new family member, managing an estate, or simply needing more room.
Behind every unit, there’s usually a story.

That idea became part of our philosophy:

As we’ve studied the industry and built our acquisition strategy, one principle has become especially important to us:
We would rather lose a deal because our underwriting was too conservative than own a deal because our assumptions were too optimistic.

We look for self-storage properties where disciplined management, technology, thoughtful improvements, and strong operations can create long-term value.
We believe the work really begins after an acquisition.
Our goal is not simply to own facilities. We want to operate them exceptionally well.

Our vision for Octopis Holdings is to build a portfolio of well-run self-storage properties and an operating company known for discipline, integrity, innovation, and responsible stewardship of capital.

And we’re going to share the journey—the opportunities, lessons, challenges, acquisitions, and occasionally the deals we decide not to buy.
